The outbreak of EVALI in 2019 raised significant health concerns related to vaping products, especially those containing THC and vitamin E acetate. This study investigates how smokers' awareness and understanding of EVALI have evolved approximately 16 months after the outbreak's peak.
Understanding these perceptions is crucial for public health strategies aimed at reducing vaping-related harms and informing policy decisions regarding e-cigarette regulation and education.
