This study investigates when young adults in the US become susceptible to using various tobacco products, including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, hookah, smokeless tobacco, and cigarillos. Understanding these ages helps in designing targeted prevention strategies.
By identifying the cognitive precursors to tobacco initiation, public health initiatives can better address the factors influencing young adults' susceptibility and reduce tobacco use initiation rates.
