Nicotine dependence is a significant public health issue, especially in low- and middle-income countries where tobacco-related premature deaths are prevalent. This study focuses on understanding the levels of nicotine addiction and the different stages smokers go through when attempting to quit in Nepal.
By examining these factors, the research aims to inform targeted interventions and policies to reduce tobacco use and support smokers in their cessation journey.
